Lolita & Ouji

✶ Armoire ✶

Welcome to my armoire! I have a small collection of lolita pieces and antique garments that I'm slowly building. Feel free to take a look!

About my style
I've made it my goal to dress in a way that brings me joy, even when it's not what people around me are wearing. I feel most like myself in frilly blouses with puffed sleeves and embroidered waistcoats :-)

My most beloved style is ouji, and it's the style I'm aiming to wear the most (resolution for this new year!). I also like proto and old school lolita a lot, and dresses with pirate and marine themes have a deadly grip on my heart (if someone has Infanta's Powers and Thrones JSK I will trade you my soul for it).

About my collection of antiques
I have gathered my modest collection over the past year or so (except for one item) mostly so that I can study how clothes were made, particularly in the late XIX and early XX centuries. I usually only buy clothes that fit me already so if I eventually replicate them I won't have to do as much math!

I like aesthetic, artistic arts and crafts fashion a lot, so I'm hoping that I'll find an artsy piece at the antiquarian market one day :-)
